Static Security department is one of the oldest SBU in AB Securitas which has over 2 Decades of experience in this field and a key player in the Static Security Industry with over 4000 dedicated work force. We are specialized in providing general manned guard services, special armed services, event security and similar services. AB Securitas sources its cadre by following a streamlined process to ensure that we select only the best capable diligent and well-presented staff. The selected candidates are provided with the best training in dedicated training center by a qualified team of trainers. Majority of our staff comprised from legally resigned / retired ex-military and police personnel. We provide our clients peace of mind by offering the maximum security to their assets, properties and lives with most sophisticated and reliable security services available in Sri Lanka.
Total Cash Management
Unit offers services to Public and Private Sector Banks and ƼRERGMEP companies to process their daily collections and deposit to Central Bank or to transfer to their branches, customers or to another Bank through RTGS system. The cash collected from various clients and from Bank branches are brought to the walk-in-vaults / Cash Management Centres at ABS Head Office Anuradhapura, Kandy and Matara and sort according to the quality of currency notes by using industrial cash sorters.
Cash in Transit (CIT)
Cash In Transit division handles transportation of cash between locations as required by the clients. This includes Inter bank branch collections and deliveries, Central Bank deposits / withdrawals, Collection & Delivery to corporate & VIP customers, Cheque and document collection and delivery and safe custody of cash. This division also handles the transportation of Gold Articles, Precious Stones, Foreign Currency etc depending on the client’s requirement.
ATM Management
ATM Management Service covers all ATM-related services, including replenishments, callouts, and first-line maintenance. Replenishment Services include cash replenishments, Clear Cards, Clear Cash, Clear Deposits, Journal roll replacement, Ribbon replacement, cash reconciliation, maintaining ATM consumables, and closing and re-activating ATMs.
Electronic Security
This division provides Electmic Security related products such as CCTV SurveillanceBurglar Alarm Systems, Access Control Systems, Guard Tour Systems, GPS Based Vehicletracking and fleet management systems, CentraMonitoring Solutions Quick Response Teams, BaggageScanners, Hand Held Metal Detectors and Walk Trough Metal Detectors
KNINE Sniffer Dog Force
the security agencies are entrusted with providing security for personnel and properties with professional skills and capabilities. Therefore establishment of a Security Dogs Unit-a Canine Arm will enhance the enforcement capability of AB Securitas in engagement with professional security tasks by means of detection of illegal improvise explosive substances and provision of Guarding requirements As Detector Dogs Programmes (DDP) are conducted in professional security firms in various parts of the world, the newly trained sniffer dogs could be utilized for the detection and deterrence of enemy threats. Further the working units comprising with sniffer dogs and Dog Handlers could be deployed in shopping malls, super markets, hospitals and other similar public places in order to extend highly professional security.
